About the project
Central Florida Foot & Ankle Center LLC is one of Polk County's most established podiatric practices, led by Dr. Tatiana A. Wellens (DPM, PhD, FACFAS) — one of the few podiatrists in the United States to hold both a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. With over 25 years of experience, 90,000+ patients served, and 15,000+ surgeries performed, the practice operates three locations across Winter Haven, Lakeland, and Davenport, Florida. They are the only practice in Polk County offering standing CT imaging and Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction, and have been recognised as Best Podiatrist in Central Florida by the Lakeland Ledger.
The challenge
An outdated website that didn't reflect the clinical authority, advanced technology, or scale of a practice serving tens of thousands of patients across three locations. Complex content requirements — multiple doctors, multiple offices, dozens of conditions and services, bilingual patient needs (English and Spanish), and downloadable patient forms — all needed to be structured clearly without overwhelming first-time visitors. The previous site was difficult to navigate on mobile and didn't communicate the practice's credentials effectively.
What we built
Full website redesign from custom Figma designs, built and launched on Shopify. Structured information architecture covering all services, conditions, office locations, and doctor profiles. Dedicated service pages with clinical depth built for both patients and SEO. Bilingual support with EN/ES language switching. Patient forms section with printable PDFs and online options in English and Spanish. Location-specific pages with maps, hours, and same-day appointment CTAs. Mobile-first build with Core Web Vitals optimisation throughout.
