How much does a custom app cost?

Fixed price after a short scoping phase. Simple admin tools start small; checkout extensions and ERP integrations are bigger. You always get one number before we build.

Who owns the code?

You do — fully. It lives in your GitHub and your hosting account. If we disappeared tomorrow, any developer could pick it up from the docs.

An existing app almost does what we need. Build or buy?

We’ll tell you honestly on the first call. If a $30/mo app covers 95% of it, buy the app. Custom makes sense when the gap costs you real money or the app fees stack up.

Do you build public App Store apps too?

Yes — including the review process, billing API, and GDPR webhooks Shopify requires for listing.

What about maintenance after launch?

Apps get 30 days of free fixes, and we offer a light monitoring retainer that covers API version bumps — Shopify deprecates old API versions on a schedule, so someone has to.
